Episode 91: Author Blake Long on When God Says "No" to Prayers

While trusting in God's will for our lives is an essential part of the Christian walk, it's also one of the most difficult things we attempt to do as humans. When God tells us "no" to our prayers, we often struggle with how to respond. For many of us, it can serve as a catalyst to pull further away from God. But what if reframed how we internalize a "no" from God?

Author Blake Long explores this topic in his new s book, "Taking No For an Answer: How to Respond When God Says No to Our Prayers." I love this topic, and I think it's one that will always be timely for both Christians and non-believers. For some, this is the very reason they either don't follow God or believe God doesn't exist. After all, how can a gracious and loving God allow for heartache, devastation and tragedy?
